In my opinion, marijuana should have been legal in the first place because, its not like other drugs, it doesnt really cause any sort of harm other than messing up your lungs. Marijuana can be used for many purposes. It can be used as a medicine, it can be used for construction, a replacement for weed, paper products, oils, etc.
Therefore, marijuana is helpful for the economy in some ways. People often say that marijuana has caused many deaths but really, marijuana hasnt caused any deaths unlike many other drugs including tabacco.
Basically, I think marijuana should be completely legal and should be sold the same way tabacco is especially since it is a lot healthier for you than tabacco is and does not cause death.
